Gaming's Weekly Roundup

PvZ
Users of the Iphone rejoice! Your Plants Versus Zombies is getting an update. You can expect 9 new mini-games that can be purchased with real money or in-game currency. Even though Plants Versus Zombies is already 2 years old on PC, it is still relatively new on other devices and the iOS port of the game is going to be thanking PC’s for the 9 new mini-games. The games can be found in Crazy Dave’s shop at .99 cent per 3 (3 dollars in total) or farmed out with in-game currency.  At only 3 dollars for the whole game on mobile gaming devices, PvZ is one of the best around.

Did you enjoy creating death defying roller coasters 10+ years ago in RollerCoaster Tycoon? Yes, you did. Everybody’s favorite roller coaster simulator is back in 3D!!!! Well not yet, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3D will be released on the Nintendo 3DS portable gaming device in 2012. The game will be released through Atari specifically designed for the Nintendo 3DS’ 3D capabilities. Atari claims that it will be very easy to share your creations, or more likely, death machines, with your friends. Hopefully this means someone in the UK can show me how they killed their guests while I show them my own way. We can’t wait for this one.

Skyrim 11.11.11
Lastly, a public service announcement for all gamers, The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim comes out 11.11.11. We can’t wait to get our hands on it ever since we saw our first glimpse of the gameplay at E3. If you are a fan of the series or if you are new and looking for a role-playing game that has it all and a strong background of awesome game, Skyrim is for you. At Penny Arcade Expo the developers let a couple people sit down and play the gameplay demo we saw at E3, they didn’t let anyone see the starting areas because that is supposed to be a surprise but they got to play with all of the character customization and a little bit of the gameplay (starting about 30 minutes into the game). From what I have seen this game is going to be epic, it is absolutely beautiful and it seems as though, like previous games, there aren’t a whole lot of boundaries as far as what can be done (like throwing your dead enemies in the river so they float away safely disposing of them). 11.11.11 isn’t my birthday but it certainly will feel like it.
